As we begin this 2008 season many great changes and developments have happened in the New England Stock Horse World!
First - In New England, We now have 3 locations, 16 show dates offering everybody opportunity for New England Stock Horse Shows. Riverfare Farms (www.riverfarenh.com) as well as-Heritage Farm (www.farmheritage.com) and Stillwater Farms (jjq40@comcast.net) in Mass. they will also be hosting clinics and educational oppportunities. Right now we are working with others to build the interest in MAINE!!! As we all know, this could not happen at a better time when New England Stock Horse Show interest is growing, so what we did was get together and now we are able to offer 16 show dates on differrent weekends that allows for everyone to get out, visit a different location, see friends that you may not have seen in a while, Bar-B-Q &/or overnight! Through this program the goal is for horse owners to become more accustom to and comfortable with the basics of riding through feel and developing a better relationship with your horse. We cover the basics of skills and foundation work that a ranch horse would be asked to perform and do on a daily basis of work in the pen or open area.
